Mountain View College (MVC) is located on the island of Mindanao, one of 7000+ islands that comprise The Philippines. The college’s location welcomes high academic standards and its natural environment provides a peaceful place to study.
Mountain View College is a Seventh-day Adventist Institution of higher education, it conservative practices and culture makes it also stand out from other institutions.
History
The College was founded in 1949 as an extension campus of Philippine Union College at Manticao. In 1952, there was a formal separation. A year later, Mountain View College opened its own campus at Malaybalay. In 1969, a school of nursing was added.
Academics
The College offers bachelor’s degrees in various specialties: accountancy, agriculture, biology, business administration, elementary and secondary education, English, home economics, management, mathematics, music, nursing, and theology. Diplomas and associate degrees are also available in mechanics and electrical technology.

Location
Montain View College is located on a plateau in Mount Nebo, with an area of 10.24 km². The campus is composed of farmlands, forests, and a ranch. The campus is ble to operate its own hydroelectric plants, providing the campus. MVC is surronded by mountain ranges and bordered on the north by the Manupali River. This provides a wonderful atmosphare for your education.  An extention campus is located in Bagontaas, with the School of Nursing.
