Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies

The Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS) in the Philippines is a multicultural setting with IAS Academic program operate year round with five 9-week terms.

AIIAS History

The Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS) established in 1957 offering graduate programs, it started its operations on the campus of Philippine Union College (PUC), later the graduate ministerial programs were organized into a Theological Seminary, which became an institution of the Far Eastern Division of Seventh-day Adventists.

On May 5, 1987 the Adventist Institute of Advanced Studies was formed by presidential decree 2021. In 1996, AIIAS became an institution of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Accreditation

AIIAS is recognized as a graduate institution by the Republic of the Philippines, as certified by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 2021.

Advanced Studies

AIIAS operates two schools as follows:

The school of graduate studies, with programs such as PhD in Education, Eds, MA Educ, MPH and MBA. These programs are accredited by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU- Level III), it also offers PhD in Business, MSA, MAT, MEd programs which are accredited by the Adventist Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities (AAA).

The Theological Seminary offering the MDiv program, accredited by the Association for Theological Education in South East Asia (ATESEA) and the (AAA) , as well as the new Doctor of Missiology (D.Miss)/Doctor of Intercultural Studies (DIS).
